Developmental Project Overview
Each semester, a small group of NELA fellows worked collaboratively to complete a developmental project designed to help us better understand the physical, cognitive, and social/emotional development of students at a particular grade level band. These assignments required research and data collection in the form of classroom observations, interviews, and reading; data analysis; and reporting. In order to contextualize our research, we focused on a particular school or school district. Below you will find selected artifacts from each of the developmental projects I completed in collaboration with my NELA colleagues.
